Google Mobile data shows that during the workday, mobile users are searching from their computers and use their smartphones steadily throughout the day, with a notable spike in tablet search activity in the evening. While both tablets and smartphones are mobile devices that can be used in a variety of places, Google Mobile says this data illustrates that tablets are “lean back” devices at home, while smartphones are more likely to be used in the office and on the go.
